“Cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan is of particular importance,” Nino Tsilosani, head of the Georgian parliamentary delegation and Vice-Speaker of Parliament, who is visiting Azerbaijan, said in an interview with Rustavi 2 TV channel, APA’s local bureau reports.
She said that both countries act as strong regional players strengthening transport and logistics links, and that the Middle Corridor project is being implemented thanks to mutual cooperation.
The Vice-Speaker emphasized that Azerbaijan’s political support for Georgia is of vital importance. In this context, she highly appreciated official Baku’s condemnation of the recent “presidential elections” held in Georgia’s occupied Tskhinvali region.
