Efforts should be made to prevent conflict and confrontation between China and the United States, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping said during his speech at the White House, APA reports.
“China and the United States should uphold the principle of no conflict and no confrontation between us. On this planet that we both call home, we can surely find the right way for two major countries to coexist,” Xi Jinping said.
The Chinese leader emphasized the importance of maintaining regular dialogue between the armed forces of the two countries.
“Our militaries should maintain regular dialogue and improve mechanisms for communication and crisis prevention,” Xi Jinping noted.
