Reports of planned trilateral talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine in New York are false, Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, no trilateral meeting is planned in New York, and no such meeting will take place.
Reuters reported yesterday that Dmitriev had travelled to the United States for talks with the US President’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Ukrainian media, meanwhile, reported that a meeting between the three delegations would be held in New York to discuss an energy ceasefire. However, the Office of the President of Ukraine has not confirmed the reports.
