"Azerbaijan is implementing purposeful measures in the field of digitalization and application of technological innovations in the economy," Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at a plenary session on the topic "Alliance of New Technologies: Creating the Industry of the Future" at the BELEXPO International Exhibition Center in Minsk, APA reports.
Prime Minister said that one of the country's five national priorities is ensuring sustainable and competitive economic growth: "In this context, accelerating the transition to a digital economy and introducing new technologies are among the main strategic goals. With the state's preference for a digital economy, it is especially important for the private sector to adapt to new requirements. The "Digital Development Concept" and "Artificial Intelligence Strategy" adopted by the Republic of Azerbaijan serve to strengthen the digital infrastructure of business entities and accelerate technological adaptation.
