Five station locations for Baku Metro’s Purple line under review

The “B-4” station of the metro will be the next station after the “8 November” station on the Purple Line, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the press secretary of Baku Metro CJSC, told journalists, APA-Economics reports.

He noted that according to the State Program, five more stations are to be constructed on the Purple Line: “One of those five stations, for example, the 'B-5' station following 'B-4', will be located near the 'Nizami' station. At present, clarification work is underway regarding the areas for these stations. There will be a direct transfer from that station to the 'Nizami' station. A passenger who begins their journey at 'Avtovagzal' station will be able to transfer at that station and continue their trip along the Green Line via the 'Nizami' station.”
