Baku Climate Action Week is also an opportunity to show respect to the people of Azerbaijan who have devoted all their knowledge, skills and dedication to the climate issue, said the President of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, Maria Fernanda Espinosa, on the opening day of the II Baku Climate Action Week (BCAA), APA-Economics reports.
"These works have really made a big difference, and of course, all this has been possible under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. It is true that the climate agenda is complex, difficult, but it requires the right leadership. We saw this leadership during COP29, and we are seeing it now during the preparations for COP30 - (Brazil)," she added.
