Baku. Nicat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. For the Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai got a little more mileage out of its HED-5 crossover concept vehicle originally introduced at the Geneva Auto Show, Examiner reported.
At the Swiss event the swoopy six-seater was powered by a dual-stage turbocharged diesel—a low pressure turbocharger fed a high pressure turbocharger enabling the 2.2-liter engine to produce 317 lb-ft of torque.
For L.A., however, the HED-5 i-mode had an engine swap. Gone was the diesel. Say hello, Theta Turbo GDI, a direct gasoline injection turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline fueled engine that produces “up to 286 horsepower.
