First Internet payment system to be unveiled in Azerbaijan next month

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluev - APA-Economics. SilverKey Technologies Azerbaijan plans to unveil the first Internet payment system â€“ GoldenPay in Baku on December 2.
The company said this would be a significant step towards the introduction of e-commerce in the country.
GoldenPay is certified by Visa International and MasterCard and meets 3d Secure standards.
Besdies, GoldenPay has a e-security certificate from VeriSign, Inc. The new system will pave the way for the introduction of e-shops and electronic bill services in Azerbaijan.
SilverKey Technologies Azerbaijan has been in operation in Azerbaijan for two years as a representative of the US-based SilverKey Technologies.
SilverKey Technologies in Azerbaijan is one of the five SilverKey offices globally. It was set up in September 2006 with a mission to accelerate the use of e-Life in Azerbaijan.
