“An office building will be built there for AzerEnerji and a substation will be constructed to supply electricity to governmental bodies located nearby,” said the company.
The company said the territory once owned by Keshle Engineering Plant was allotted to AzerEnerji as a construction site by the State Property Management Committee.
“The construction documents have been prepared. The policlinic is being knocked down by the State Property Management Committee under a decision of the government. Under the decision, the committee has to offer the empty site to us,” said AzerEnerji.
Gulu Khalilov, press secretary of the Committee, told APA-Economics that the policlinic was being knocked down by AzerEnerji.
“The site belongs to AzerEnerji and we don’t take part in the work to knock down the policlinic,” he added.
Meanwhile, Baku Main Healthcare Department has requested Nizami Police Department to probe the fact.
Leyla Seyidbeyova, Chairwoman of Baku Main Healthcare Department, told APA-Economics that they were unaware of the reason why the policlinic knocked down.
“Medical equipment has been broken and air-conditioners stolen. Head doctor saw the building knocked down at about 11.00 am yesterday when he came to work. We have no further information about the reason. The damage is being assessed,” she noted.
