Aghsu mountainous passage opened for motor cars movement

Aghsu. Elvin Yagubov â€“ APA. Aghsu mountainous passage is completely open for the movement of motor cars, chief of the Aghsu Road Exploitation Department Muradkhan Muradkhanov told APA. According to him, the government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov estimated the condition and inspected roundabout ways along 14 km. Now the barrier was placed and post was established in the two entrances of Aghsu mountainous passage for restricting of trucks movement. State Traffic Police and employees of the Ministry of Transports are controlling the movement of trucks.

Muradkhan Muradkhanov said that it was offered trucks to use Aghsu-Goyler-Shamakhi highway, which is expected to be reconstructed for this goal.

APAâ€™s local bureau reports that the officials will also visit Mughanli village of Shamakhi region, another landslide-affected area. Now the delegation is holding meeting with the local residents suffered from the natural disaster. Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov informed them about the situation. In the first stage, it is considered to remove 48 landslide affected houses. APA reports that president of Azerenergy JSC Etibar Pirverdiyev, deputy chairman of Azeryolservis JSC Vagif Hajiyev, deputy minister of emergency situations Raghim Latifov and the other officials attended the meeting.
