Work is underway in Azerbaijan to enable the submission of tax declarations through a mobile application, Samir Khaligov, Acting Head of the Main Department of Tax Risk Management of the State Tax Service, said at the conference titled "Digital Financial Ecosystem: A New Stage in Governance" held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, this innovation will allow taxpayers to submit declarations more conveniently and promptly.
S. Khaligov noted that submitting declarations through a mobile application will be particularly important for micro-entrepreneurs who have limited access to desktop computers.
He added that, as part of the digitalization of tax administration, work is also underway to expand the mechanism for automatically pre-filling tax declarations.
These innovations will help reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs and simplify the fulfillment of tax obligations.
