Pope Leo XIV's doctors said on Wednesday that the pontiff does not require additional treatment following his discharge from a Rome hospital where a cancerous part of his lung was removed last week, APA reports.
"The results confirmed that the tumor was a lung adenocarcinoma and that the disease was localized. A subsequent oncological assessment has confirmed that no further treatment is necessary," the Holy See said in a press release.
