The winning team's goals were scored by Niko Paz (2nd, 57th minute), Anastasios Douvikas (49), and Jacobo Ramon (76). Joshua Zirkzee (90+1) scored the only goal for the losing team.
Como won their second Champions League title, making their debut in Europe's premier club competition. Manchester United suffered their first crushing defeat to a newcomer in 24 years. In 2002, the English club lost 3-0 away to Israeli Maccabi Haifa.
In the overall standings, Como is in 6th place with 6 points. Manchester United is 20th with 3 points. In the next round, Como will play away against French side Lens on November 4, while Manchester United will host Italian side Roma the day before.
