A total of 34 people, including 5 children, were injured and 2 people were killed as a result of Russian strikes on 12 regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
According to him, a total of 21 ballistic missiles were used during the attacks. As a result, numerous strikes and destruction were recorded in Kyiv.
"Ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, the infrastructure of one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping centers, and enterprises were hit. There is even a monastery among the damaged facilities," Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian President noted that emergency service personnel continue their work in all areas.
Zelenskyy stated that the attack was carried out immediately after another round of talks with Russia.
"In fact, immediately after another round of talks, Russia carried out a demonstrative strike. This shows that there have been no real changes in its attitude toward what is happening," the Ukrainian President emphasized.
