Ukraine has gained the opportunity to purchase weapons, ammunition, and military equipment through NATO's centralized procurement agency, the Financial Times reports.
According to the publication, the new mechanism could allow Kyiv to acquire defense equipment more quickly and cost-effectively. This concerns the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
NSPA Director of Operations Support Jacqueline Borsboom told the Financial Times that the agreement allows Ukraine to make more structured use of NATO's procurement experience, support services, and already established industrial base.
