Haji Galib Salahzadeh: â€œAli Evsen is not aware of about the arrest warrantâ€

Haji Galib told APA that while reading these reports on websites he immediately phoned to Evsen: â€œAli Evsen said that he is not aware of about the arrest warrant. He got this information from me and said that this information is false. He said the slander was spread by the people who didnâ€™t like him. Ali Evsen is in Spain and he goes about his business. If he is declared wanted, his place is known, why donâ€™t they arrest him?â€

According to the notice, Ali Evsen, 49, is the citizen of three countries â€“ Azerbaijan, Turkey and Albania. He is wanted by Egypt. Ali Evsen is accused of swindling.

Last summer Ali Evsen, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarakâ€™s close associate Hussein Salemi and his son Halid Salemi were arrested in Spain over the charges of money laundering, bribery and corruption. A month later Ali Evsen was released as his was not found guilty.

Ali Evsen is the president of Azerbaijan-based Evsen Group and a shareholder of Albanian Airlines. Evsen Group also includes AzSamand Services, Elite Complex, and Azerbaijan Electronics.

Ali Evsen is the father-in-law of the son of chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh.
