Person kidnapping and killing well-known businessman 9 years ago arrested in Azerbaijan

Aliyev Miryusif Mirislam, born in 1969, previously convicted, declared wanted from 2003, accused of Criminal Codeâ€™s articles â„–120.2.1, 120.2.5, 120.2.11 (deliberate murder), 182.3.2 (extortion), 217.2 (gang) and 228.2.2 (illegal storage of fire-arms) was detained in Binagadi district on March 27 as a result of successful operational search carried out by the employees of Crime Search Office of the Baku City Main Police Office.

APA reports that Miryusif Aliyev together with Novruzov Rashad Mughan and Nasirov Umid Kamal kidnapped well-known businessman Mammadov Knyaz Abbas on January 13, 2003. They ransomed 150,000 dollars from the businessmanâ€™s family for his return, but then killed him after receiving money. Novruzov and Nasirov were detained. Aliyev has been declared wanted since March 13, 2003.
