“Trading Economics” (TE) has updated its economic growth forecast for Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
The international economic statistics portal has lowered its forecast for Azerbaijan’s economic growth in the first quarter of 2026 from 3.7% to 1.8%, kept the forecast for the second quarter at 3%, and reduced the forecast for the third quarter from 3% to 2.6%.
For the final quarter of the year, TE expects the country’s economy to grow by 2.4%.
Note that the State Statistical Committee has announced that Azerbaijan’s economy grew by 1.7% in January of this year.
