Compared to 2018, the share of tax revenues from the private sector of the non-oil and gas sector in GDP increased by 2.2 percentage points, reaching 9.9% in 2025, said Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov at the forum titled “A Look into the Future of the Tax System: A New Management Model and Data-Driven Decisions,” APA-Economics reports.
“Last year, the share of tax revenues in GDP amounted to 12.7%, while the share of tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector in non-oil GDP reached 13%, increasing by 3.4 and 2.4 percentage points respectively compared to 2018,” the minister added.
