The export of oil products of Azerbaijani origin to Armenia is purely commercial in nature, APA-Economics reports.

This is reflected in the “Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.

The report emphasizes that the export of oil products of Azerbaijani origin to Armenia reflects the concept of economic dividends of the peace process. The export of Azerbaijani-origin oil products to Armenia is purely commercial in nature and can be considered an important step toward establishing economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The document recalls that on December 18, 2025, SOCAR for the first time began supplying locally produced A-95 grade automobile gasoline to Armenia.

It is noted that oil products in Azerbaijan are produced at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (OR).

According to the report, in 2025 the refinery processed 6,226 thousand tons of crude oil, producing 1,462 thousand tons of automobile gasoline, 691 thousand tons of jet fuel, 2,549 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 229 thousand tons of liquefied gas, 259 thousand tons of bitumen, 235 thousand tons of coke, and other products.

“As a result of the measures implemented, the depth of oil refining reached 97%, with 87% of marketable oil products directed to the domestic market and the remaining 13% to exports. Revenues from the export of oil products amounted to $386.1 million, while domestic sales totaled 5,106.6 million manats,” the report states.
