During the first nine months of 2025, an increase in the volume of overpayments within the cash-based tax revenues of the state budget was observed, APA-Economics reports.
This is reflected in the opinion of the Chamber of Accounts on the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026.
It was noted that by the end of the reporting period, the amount of overpayments had increased by 290.2 million manats compared to the beginning of the year. This trend creates additional pressure on the execution of tax revenue forecasts for the medium term, complicates the objective assessment of the sustainability of state budget revenues, and introduces additional risks into the planning process.
