In January 2026, investments in fixed capital amounted to 1 billion 405.9 million manats, which is 75.6% more compared to January of the previous year, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
According to the data, the volume of investments directed to the oil and gas sector increased by 78.3%, while investments in the non-oil and gas sector rose by 73.9%.
Of the investments utilized, 758.6 million manats, or 54.0%, were spent on production sectors, 551.0 million manats (39.2%) on service sectors, and 96.3 million manats (6.8%) on the construction of residential buildings. Domestic investments accounted for 1,004.0 million manats, or 71.4%, of total investments in fixed capital. Meanwhile, 577.2 million manats, or 41.1%, of investments in fixed capital were spent directly on construction and installation works.
