At today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship, the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” was discussed, APA reports.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Central Bank Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Shahin Baghirov, and other government officials.
Government representatives delivered speeches and answered questions from MPs.
In conclusion, the “State Budget Package of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” was recommended for discussion at a plenary session.
