Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the economic and financial spheres has expanded significantly in recent years and has reached a strategic level, said Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), during a roundtable held within the framework of a business mission to Azerbaijan organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of the leadership of the Central Bank and the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that the existing partnership, based on mutual trust, is creating sustainable development prospects. In his speech, Taleh Kazimov provided detailed information on macroeconomic stability, the resilience of the financial and banking sector, the development of financial technologies, digitalization initiatives, sustainable finance instruments, and reforms and achievements in the field of cross-border payment infrastructure.
He also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with U.S. companies, the exchange of advanced technologies and expertise, and highlighted the role of banking missions organized in recent years in strengthening ties with U.S. banks.
