Next year, 52.07 million manats will be allocated from the state budget to the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), APA reports.
This is reflected in the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026,” discussed today at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.
This represents an increase of 546 thousand manats, or 1.1%, compared to 2025. In 2025, 51.53 million manats were allocated to the Milli Majlis from the state budget.
The main part of the expenditures will be directed toward labor payments. In 2026, personnel-related expenses of the Milli Majlis will amount to 39.51 million manats, including 31.75 million manats for salaries.
Note that in 2024, the parliament’s maintenance expenses totaled 49.22 million manats.
