A delegation led by Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with representatives of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia on the sidelines of the XXV Congress of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, the Chamber of Accounts told APA.
The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of public audit.
Following the signing ceremony, the parties discussed areas of cooperation related to the implementation of the Memorandum and their future joint action plans.
Chairperson of the Audit Board of Indonesia, Dr. Isma Yatun, emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings to identify new directions for cooperation and expressed her pleasure in inviting Chairman Vugar Gulmammadov to pay an official visit to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
It should be noted that the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia has been selected as the next host of the INTOSAI Congress and will assume the chairmanship of the organization for the 2028–2031 term.
