As of October 1, 2025, the amount of state-guaranteed debt (domestic and foreign debt) amounted to 10,686.5 million manats or 8.2 percent of the projected GDP for 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.
9,024.1 million manats (5,308.3 million USD) or 84.4 percent of the state guarantee falls on foreign state-guaranteed loans, and 1,662.4 million manats or 15.6 percent on domestic state-guaranteed loans.
It was noted that 79.1 percent or 4,196.8 million USD of the foreign state-guaranteed debt portfolio consists of state guarantees provided for loans attracted by the Southern Gas Corridor Closed Joint Stock Company.
