Bank Avrasiya sees 48% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiyaâ€™s assets stood at AZN 60.189 mln, up 47.7% compared to a year ago.

Bank says deposit portolio approximately doubled to AZN 32.657 mln, including populatinâ€™s deposit made AZN 30.622 mln, loan portfolio soared 1.3% to AZN 20.288 mln, as well consumer lending dropped 61% to AZN 1.870 mln.

Total capital slid 0.6% to AZN 20.290 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 20 mln.

Note that, income slipped 14% to AZN 4.175 mln, expenditure rose 7.1% to AZN 4.474 mln. As the result, the loss made AZN 298.62 thousand.

Bank Avrasiya has been in operation since 2007. The bank operates 1 branch, 4 ATMs and 23 POS-terminals across the country.
