Ateshgah Insurance Company increases premiums by 20%

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Ateshgah Insurance Company has collected AZN 14.796 mln insurance premium in 2010, up 20.2% from 2009.

Company says the premiums on voluntary insurance types made AZN 14.22 mln, on compulsory types â€“ AZN 0.573 mln.

Most of premiums came from Vehicle insurance (AZN 7.012 mln), Health insurance (AZN 3.148 mln), Property fire insurance (AZN 2.083 mln), Water transport Casco insurance (AZN 0.865 mln), general civil responsibility insurance (AZN 0.725 mln) and compulsory fire insurance (AZN 0.725 mln).

Payments rose 23% to AZN 5.373 mln. AZN 5.234 mln went to voluntary insurance types, AZN 0.139 mln to compulsory insurance types. Most of payments went to Vehicle insurance (AZN 2.660 mln), Health insurance (AZN 2.298 mln), compulsory motor vehicle liability insurance (AZN 0.1 mln).

Remind that Ateshgah has been in existence since 1996. The company operates 17 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
