The situation in Azerbaijan and Armenia causes concern for Georgia, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said in a panel discussion of the Paris Peace Forum, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"The situation in our region, in the neighboring Azerbaijan and Armenia, is of course a concern for Georgia. As I have said many times before, Georgia is a very objective, impartial mediator, just a friend. We have excellent relations with Armenia, we also have excellent relations with Azerbaijan. I myself have a very trusting relationship with both leaders. Therefore, Georgia's interest is to ensure long-term sustainable peace and stability in our region," Garibashvili stressed.
