A fight broke out at a wedding ceremony in the Azerbaijani-populated village of Gara Tahle in Georgia's Gardabani district, APA's local bureau reports.
The incident that occurred on the evening of January 5 resulted in the death of one person and the injury of four others.
According to the local actual.ge website, the fight that broke out at the party continued outside the wedding. During the physical confrontation, a car drove over a middle-aged man named Fail Aliyev, who died on the spot.
Those who received stab wounds during the incident were taken to a hospital in Rustavi.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said that an investigation into the incident was being conducted under the article of intentional homicide.
According to the information, Fail Aliyev was the toastmaster at the wedding where the fight took place.
