In 2025, expenditures under the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) amounted to approximately USD 109 million, APA-Economics reports, citing bp's report on the results of its operations in Azerbaijan for 2025.
According to the report, operating expenditures under the SCP last year totaled approximately USD 71 million, while capital expenditures amounted to about USD 38 million.
Recall that the SCP was commissioned in late 2006 and delivers Shah Deniz gas to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye. The South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (SCPX) system began transporting commercial gas volumes to Türkiye in June 2018 and to Europe in December 2020.
