In January-September this year, 27 505,2 thousand tonnes of oil was transported via main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 5,1% more than in comparison to the relevant figure for 2021, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
78,9% of transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline, 21 688,4 thousand tonnes of oil was transported through the pipeline during the reporting period (10.85% more than in 2021).
According to the report, 3 580,3 thousand tonnes of transit oil (42% more in annual comparison) were transported via the BTC during the reporting period.
