European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said the bloc would not ease pressure on Russia, warning that suspending sanctions on Russian diesel would provide Moscow with additional revenue, APA reports.
"This is not the time to ease pressure on Russia, and Europe won't," she wrote in a post on X. Kallas accused Russia of killing more than 80 Ukrainian civilians in two days and stepping up "hybrid attacks" against European Union and NATO countries.
She also announced that EU foreign ministers intend to approve on Monday the "biggest set of sanctions listings" targeting Russia's war effort since the conflict began.
