Ukraine is ready to halt attacks on Russian oil refineries if Russia stops striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, APA reports.
Zelensky stressed that steps to reduce tensions in the conflict must be reciprocal and accompanied by concrete guarantees.
In a post on Telegram, the Ukrainian president also said he would continue talks with European leaders. He noted that additional air defence systems and ammunition for combat aircraft were being discussed daily.
US President Donald Trump called for a change in Ukraine’s leadership on October 10 and demanded that Kyiv stop attacking Russian oil refineries.
Zelensky also said the death toll from Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia on October 10 had risen to 23, including four children.
