Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed the Iranian side’s position on a possible resolution of the conflict during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA reports.
According to him, Putin held two meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the summit in Turkmenistan. During one of the meetings, the Russian leader informed the Iranian president about his planned telephone conversation with Trump.
Peskov said Putin coordinated the Iranian side’s position with Pezeshkian and conveyed it to Trump.
It should be noted that the telephone conversation between Putin and Trump on October 9 lasted approximately an hour and a half.
