The visit of an international group of travelers led by Charles Veley, founder of the world-renowned Most Traveled People (MTP) club, to Karabakh and East Zangezur continues, APA’s regional correspondent reports.
During their visit to Zangilan district, the travelers familiarized themselves with the construction work being carried out on the Horadiz-Aghband highway and railway line.
They were informed that construction work is being carried out in stages on the 126.3-kilometer Horadiz-Aghband highway, as well as on the 110.4-kilometer railway line. Most of the first stage of the railway line has been completed, and cargo transportation to the Araz Economic Zone Industrial Park is being carried out.
It should be noted that the visit, attended by around 40 people from 13 countries, also includes familiarization with monuments reflecting Azerbaijan’s ancient history and cultural heritage. This is the 17th group visit by international travelers’ clubs to Karabakh and East Zangezur in 2021–2026.
