Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov visited Georgia. On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Energy met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, APA-Economics reports.
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-Georgia relations, which have a long history based on friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support. It was noted that the main role in the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia belongs to energy cooperation. The minister also discussed the regional and global importance of oil and gas projects such as the Baku-Supsa, BTC, and South Caucasus Pipelines implemented jointly and also discussed the opportunities in the field of electricity for the development of energy cooperation between the two countries at the current stage.
