More than 400 wells have been drilled to date at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas field block located in Azerbaijan’s sector of the Caspian Sea, APA-Economics reports.
This was announced during a presentation organized for journalists within the framework of the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition.
It was noted that more than 200 active wells are currently operating at ACG. To date, more than 4.6 billion barrels of oil have been produced from the field.
The presentation emphasized that advanced technologies and innovative solutions are being applied at ACG to maximize the oil recovery factor and ensure the long-term sustainability of production.
