In January–February of this year, the total value of production in Azerbaijan’s mining industry amounted to 5,207 million manats, increasing by 0.3% compared to the previous year, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the report, of the mentioned total figure, 4,536.4 million manats accounted for crude oil and natural gas production, which represents a 0.8% decrease in an annual comparison.

According to the information, during the reporting period, commercial oil production, the main product of the sector, amounted to 4,331.9 thousand tons, while commercial natural gas production reached 6,496.8 million cubic meters.
It is noted that commercial oil production decreased by 3% compared to the previous year, while commercial gas production increased by 3%.
