A joint meeting of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding was held today, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, discussed in detail the strategic development of Azerbaijan’s oil and gas and petrochemical industries, including strategic goals related to oil refining and petrochemicals, future development prospects, sustainable supply of domestic demand for petroleum products in the long term, and other current issues.
SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf delivered a presentation on the issue on the agenda. Members of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, as well as invited participants, including the Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, attended the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted and instructions were given to the Management Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding, SOCAR, and relevant institutions.
