General Director: Energy efficiency has become one of Azerbaijan's key strategic priorities

Today, energy efficiency has become one of Azerbaijan's key strategic priorities, said Elmir Musayev, General Director of SOCAR Green, while speaking at the event titled “Energy Efficiency and ESCO Investment Platform: Connecting Global ESCO Experience with Azerbaijan’s Major Energy Consumers” held as part of the 31st Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, Azerbaijan has significant opportunities to improve energy efficiency.

Elmir Musayev added that these opportunities exist in residential buildings, industrial enterprises, commercial facilities, and other sectors.

“We hope that after successfully implementing projects in Azerbaijan, we will be able to apply the experience we gain in other countries facing similar challenges, particularly in the Central Asian region,” the General Director noted.
