In January-July of this year, 23,989.9 million cubic meters of gas were transported through main gas pipelines in Azerbaijan, an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
Some 55.8% of gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline.
Thus, during the reporting period, 13,385.1 million cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline (an increase of 1.3%).
It should be recalled that last year, 40,235.6 million cubic meters of gas were transported through main gas pipelines in Azerbaijan, a decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous year. Some 57.5% of gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline. During the reporting period, 23,143.9 million cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline (an increase of 1.3%).
