In January 2026, the total value of production in Azerbaijan’s mining industry amounted to 2.7 billion manats, increasing by 2.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
Commercial oil production totaled 2.2 million tons, while commercial natural gas production reached 3.4 billion cubic meters.
Commercial oil production decreased by 2.3% compared to the previous year, while commercial gas production increased by 8.7%, the statement said.
According to the information, during the reporting period, a total of 2,252.4 thousand tons of oil and 4,274.2 million cubic meters of gas were produced in the republic, which is 2.4% less and 7.4% more, respectively, in an annual comparsion.
