Last year, the Shah Deniz field produced approximately 27 billion cubic meters of gas and demonstrated nearly 100% reliability, said BP’s Vice President for Production in the Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye region, Stuart Shaw, at the 12th Ministerial Meeting as part of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting as part of the Green Energy Advisory Council held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
“Shah Deniz also remains the largest gas field in bp’s portfolio. Currently, the Shah Deniz facilities have a production and processing capacity of approximately 77 million standard cubic meters of gas per day,” Stuart Shaw noted.
