Construction works under the Shafag solar project in Jabrayil district are being carried out in line with the schedule, APA-Economics reports, citing bp.
The final investment decision (FID) on the project was taken in June last year. After the decision was made, two main contracts were signed — covering the full scope of engineering, procurement, and construction services, as well as operation and maintenance of the facility for the first two years, and a contract for modular supply.
“Preparatory works at the project site have been completed. Construction works are currently ongoing, work on modular supply has begun, and the first panels were delivered to the site in August,” bp added.
