Azerbaijan's revenue from electricity, gas and steam production declines

In January–February of this year, products worth AZN 671.6 million were produced and services were provided in Azerbaijan in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, which is a 5.4% decrease in an annual comparison, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, during the reporting period, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector in the country amounted to AZN 93.4 million, which is a 6.6% decrease compared to the 2024 figure.

Recall that last year, products worth AZN 3,484.8 million were produced and services were provided in Azerbaijan in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution, and supply sector, which is 0.3% higher in an annual comparison.

During the reporting period, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector in the country amounted to AZN 654.8 million, which is a 2.5% increase compared to the 2024 figure.
