Azerbaijan’s oil production is estimated to decrease gradually in 2023-2026, it was noted in the draft law “on the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023”, APA-Economics reports.
According to the document, the production of 30 274, 3 thousand ton of oil in Azerbaijan in 2026 is estimated and this figure is fewer by 3 percent compared to the prognosis indicator of 2023 (31 222,3 thousand tons).
According to the prognosis, in 2024 and 2025 in Azerbaijan 30 649, 7 thousand tons and 30 695, 4 thousand tons of oil will be produced accordingly.
Notably, 24 493,4 thousand tons of oil is produced in January-September of the current year in Azerbaijan and this figure is 5,3% less than the annual comparison.
Reminding that 34 580,7 thousand tons of oil been produced in Azerbaijan in 2021 which is 0,1% more than the indicator of 2020.
