Azerbaijan’s industrial output rises 2.5% in January 2026 to 4.7 billion manats

In January 2026, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this sector in Azerbaijan produced industrial output worth 4.7 billion manats, which is 2.5% more compared to January of the previous year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.

Production in the oil and gas sector increased by 1.4%, while output in the non-oil and gas sector rose by 8.7%.

Of total industrial output, 56.4% was produced in the extractive industries, 35.2% in the manufacturing sector, 7.4% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 1% in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector.

According to the data, during the reporting period, commercial oil production in the extractive sector decreased by 2.3%, while commercial gas production increased by 8.7%.
