Azerbaijan has generated 20 251 million kWh of electric energy during January-September of current year which is 4,8 percent more than the annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The volume of the generated electric commodity was 19 578,3 million kWh during the reporting period (4,5 percent).
According to the Committee, 18 120,2 million kWh of generated energy fall into the heating plants (2,8 percent) and 1 375,9 million kWh (38 percent) hydropower plants.
Note that, the rest of the energy generated in Azerbaijan was provided by solar and wind power plants.
